Zoe Ball Born in 1970 and educated at a Convent School in Buckinghamshire. Zo began her television career as a runner at Granada Television and researcher on BSkyB. She spent two years as a researcher for quiz shows. She presented C4's 'Big Breakfast', CBBC's 'The O-zone', 'Playdays' on weekday mornings, 'Fully Booked' in 1995 and children's show 'Live & Kicking' show for three years. Her last L&K episode was in April 1999.
She hosted the Radio 1 'Breakfast Show' from October 1997, on a 250,000 contract co-hosting with Kevin Greening (Kevin was moved from breakfast Sept. 1998). She was the first female DJ in the history of the BBC presenting a breakfast show on Radio 1. She presented it until 31 March 2000 when her best friend Sara Cox took over. She left to raise a family.
Zoe was married to ex-Housemartins and DJ millionaire Norman Cook (known as 'Fatboy Slim') who she met in Ibiza in 1998.
